Btw. - doing this for a living, for 8 years, sometimes we have the awkward feeling that OS is merely an escape for some, and an excuse, not to participate

The majority of our suggestions, eg: proper forum, marketplace, content creation tools, building bridges, with the actual economy have been ignored (as in PreciousPlastic), not just that - on top, we've been kinda belittled for doing so, whilst in the mean-time, enthusiasts, nerds, companies walked away watching this. No idea what to think about but to me its pretty sad.

No one told you you can't make your own forum or build your own content. And you're doing it just fine. You have your repo, your site. That are a lot of accusations, as said, I am not entitled to a particular organization, but the idea, and we've doing pretty well so far, content frameworks, firmware, designs, concepts, ... Anyway, the pattern sounds familiar

As far I can see, we've been the only ones not just asking questions, but also giving answers how folks could make a living with OS, developing good products, with state of the art tools. We've been banned doing the same at PreciousPlastic (As of today, and as already mentioned, I havent seen a single line of code, good design around here, and there - for the same reasons, ... ). As for being 'an asshole', we're happy having saved 500+ folks (and counting) walking into a scam/trap. 'You could have built a bridge', 'you didn't want to listen to the mod.' - we did, and I may actually listen to people who do
