Meaning less stuck Plastic. \n\nIf 1.5kw 55 rpm would be ok \nIf a little More kw, 70 sounds better. \n\nOther times depend on the availability on your región for motors, you can play with gears and power along those ranges (protection always recomended)\n\nIf you aré going to build this one, sure wont be the last one ; )",

Not sure where 70 RPM is coming from though, could you tell us where you saw that to correct it?\nBut basically, anything between 45 and 90 RPM should do the job, 45 RPM is a safer choice for a 1,5 kW motor to keep a proper torque.",

"text": "If you want to keep the same torque specs as 1500kw @45rpm, then i'd say you should target 66rpm.\nHere's some math....close enough I figure.\n2200w/1500w= 1.466 (percentage difference between the motors)\n45rpm x 1.466 = 65.97rpm\n\nPersonally. my machine runs 1500w @ 140rpm (got it this way). It jams a lot but when it's shredding, it works fast although perhaps generates a bit too much heat for PP and PLA plastics. Lower RPMs help with the heat but in any case you'll need to let it cool down after a while. \n\nJust a warning, if you over torque your machine by gearing things down, you can break parts in jam conditions if you don't take proper precautions.",
