+In the clip I push the button for manual dispension. Normally the dispensing is triggered by the time interval that is set with one of the rotary controller 🎮 
+
+What’s in the short video is pretty much all it does.. but also all it needs to do (of course dispensing the food into a bowl makes more sense than on the floor)

+2024 is either a good year or a bad year to name something PEDRO.. I still think this akronym for Pellet Dispenser Robot is a good choice for this device 🌱
+
+I know technically it’s not really a robot, but to me it almost feels like a tiny living device serving with a very special task 🙂‍↔️
+
+PEDRO is a 3d printable Pellet Dispenser designed to dispense food for pets. The feeding interval and amount of food can be set with two potentiometers. Also there is a button for manual dispensing (push 1x) and rotating back and forth (push 3x) if the screw gets blocked 🚫 
+
+The project has changed names several times during the last months but this is the name I will stick with. As of now there are 12 of these prototypes operating and 5 of them in different households for trial runs. Its nice to see how easy it is to set it up and get it started ✨
+
+There is still a lot to learn and to improve but I am really satisfied with how well these devices work right now 🪩
+
+PEDRO works best with smaller pellets like there is for Cats, Rabbits, Hamsters and Birds. I havent tried it yet with bigger ones but they are more likely to clogg the screw 🎈
+
+Any recommendations for things that could be added in future versions 🤔?

+Actually this is a test to see how the devices function after many cycles of dosing pellets ✍️
+
+Obviously I don’t have the time to run them all for 360+ days but I can simulate at least part of it by making them dispense very often and uninterrupted 💡
+
+The other #prototypes that are at my family and friends houses are operational since a few months. That’s good because it shows the code does not have any bug that went unnoticed 👨‍💻
+
+Sometimes there can be small things in a sketch that later lead to total failure of #device..
