+Precious Plastic es un proyecto que propone soluciones a la problemática de los plásticos. El objetivo es valorizar el plástico para eliminar su desperdicio por completo, reducir la demanda de plástico nuevo, cerrar sus bucles materiales y educar a personas de todo el mundo. La estrategia de Precious Plastic es hacer que los equipos, conocimientos e infraestructuras de reciclaje estén disponibles en todos los rincones del planeta. Para lograr esto, proporcionamos los conocimientos necesarios para las máquinas de bricolaje, las técnicas y los moldes para convertir los residuos plásticos en nuevos productos o filamentos que podrían utilizarse en la impresión 3D.

+Somos un punto de reciclaje abierto a la ciudadanía, ubicado en FabLab Cuenca, equipado con la tecnología necesaria para que puedan realizarse los procesos para fabricar objetos y dar así una segunda vida a los plásticos y el aluminio.

+Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming an enthusiastic group of volunteers from the @gunjurproject. Together, we spent a fun morning collecting plastic bottle caps at Gunjur Beach. Their energy was contagious, and their impact was huge! 💪💚
+
+In just one hour, they gathered an impressive 2,103 bottle caps! 🎉 After sorting them by color, the team washed and helped grind them into shredded plastic, ready for the caps to be transformed into recycled beads. ♻️
+
+A huge thanks to this hard-working group for their dedication and hard work! Not only did they contribute to a cleaner beach, but they also played a key role in our recycling efforts. Together, we are making a difference, one bottle cap at a time.

We began by patrolling Gunjur Beach and collecting plastic, to then be sorted and washed back at our site.
