Plan your rack.
Measure the space you are planning to put your storage rack in, work out how tall and wide you want your rack to be and how many containers you will fit in this space. Set aside material to make your rack with – this can be metal, wood, recycled plastic beams (bonus points) or whatever else you have.
Our space will fit a rack 2 boxes wide and 8 boxes tall and we will make it out of some spare pieces of wood – some of this is from pallets.
