"description": "For many years, our charity organization has been taking part in local Expos, Events, and Faires using a \"Carnival Game Booth\" concept, rather than trying to SELL our handcrafted wares. Our first educational game was in 2014. It folks which items were recyclable, or not, in accordance with our local municipality's recycling system. We used a simple ring-toss and gave out our crafts as prizes!",

"description": "Helpertunity is an inclusionary enterprise charity; serving the social-learning and voluntainment needs of elderly, disabled, and itinerant makers - with a focus on the arts, upcycling, technology, and vintage gameplay. The charity was founded by two former schoolteachers in 2010; located in central Florida, USA. Our efforts in 2021 and beyond include designing handicap-accessible methods and activities that make helping the planet more fun! We have been clipping (and will soon be shredding) the least-recyclable varieties of single-use plastics to create colorful EcoBricks. Our plastic-packed bottle-shaped bricks will be used for building decorative playhouses and puppet-scapes, and for making Expo Booth Decor for use at our Eco-Carnival Game & Craft Activities Outreach & Fundraiser Days. Our games include a Wishing-Well bottlecap pitch, and a Ring-A-BottleBrick toss, among others; where donors win pre-loved-plush prizes for their contributions and participation. Our crafts activities include packing colorful 'Bottled (P)sand Art' granules and flakes using safe and handicap-assistive bottle-packing devices. We provide our Eco-Carnival activities at local Youth and Elder Maker-Outreach days, and while visiting select Eldercare Facilities and Senior Communities to provide recreation, entertainment, and gentle fitness interactions.",
